Tailors School of Tailoring and Design
was created in 2016.
During the year, in 2017, we initiated long-term educational social projects:
❤ "CHANCE AS A GIFT" and ❤ "Hear with the HEART".

GOALS of the social project ❤ "HEAR WITH YOUR HEART"
• Provide access to employment in creative and highly qualified professions for people with disabilities (hearing impaired).
• Provide opportunities for people with hearing disabilities to realize their dreams and creative abilities and start their own fashion history or get a job.
Sustainability of the project:
In the future, the video lessons created during the project will be used to train new cadets, who will be recruited with the support of state social services and UTOG. The Tailors School of Tailoring and Design will volunteer, and a consortium of partner organizations will provide employment for the cadets. The geography of project activities will be gradually expanded from Kyiv and Kyiv region to other regions and the whole territory of Ukraine.

In 2020, Tailors School will be a FINALIST of the prestigious International Competition
Partnership For Sustainability Award 2020
from UN Global Compact in Ukraine
in the nomination "Planet"
and received the "Star of Quality" award and the title of "Best Enterprise of the Country 2020".

To do this, the team Tailors School of Tailoring and Design with support The Ukrainian Cultural Foundation has developed a manual on sewing five basic things using the "zero waste" method and created 4 video workshops for beginners. All materials will be available for FREE ACCESS!

GOALS of the social project "CHANCE AS A GIFT":
• Provide free education (education) and access to employment (stable earnings) for vulnerable groups (orphans; large families, children and wives of victims of the ATO) and people with disabilities (hearing impaired).
• Provide a stable income, change professions, get a new job, or even become a designer and create your own brand.
To participate in the project you need:
• Explain (argue) why you should be given this chance. • Provide documents proving that you belong to one of the categories of vulnerable groups.
* Tip: Do not emphasize that you deserve this chance because of the difficulties experienced, as well as to feel sorry for. After all, it is not the problems that make you worthy of the time and resources of the grant user, but your vision of overcoming them. The letter should not read pessimism, aggression or accusations. Get away from clichés and common phrases, write about your dreams, that thanks to the Grant you will be able to change, achieve, do!
